OUR COMPANY’S HISTORY

The Very Beginning

In 2005, James Gisborne Limited was born but the story starts way back in the mid 1970's. James's father, David Gisborne, started his property development company and over a period of 40 years developed it into a leading high end house building company in West and North Dorset. James started working for his father's business after leaving university and along with learning his trade as a stonemason and bricklayer he also learnt from his father how to develop, build and renovate high end bespoke properties.

This wealth of experience and detailed apprenticeship lead James to strike out on his own in the mid 2000's but being a Family business, James's father is still involved and along with James's cousin, who also work for the business help to ensure the Family ethos is always at the forefront of our service.
